Mei

Mei — род вымерших ящеротазовых динозавров из семейства троодонтиды, группы тероподов, живших в раннем меловом периоде (около 125-112 миллионов лет назад) на территории нынешней Азии.[1]

Окаменелости теропода были найдены в провинции Ляонинь, Китай. Впервые описан палеонтологами Xu и Norell в 2004 году. Представлен одним видом - Mei long.

Голотип IVPP V.12733 состоит из почти полного скелета, раскопанный близ деревни Lujiatun около Beipiao в геологической формации Исянь, относящейся к аптианскому ярусу.[2]
